Who is Nevertheless?
A freelance illustrator, graphic designer and self-professed dreamer.
How would you describe your art?
I would say that on the whole, my art is quite feminine and soft – I think most of my illustrations have this dream-like quality where realism and surrealism kind of play on each other.
Where did your journey with art begin?
When I was kid I was always drawing animals and faces. Fast forward a decade or so and I decided to study graphic design at university – that’s when my creative career started. It was only mid last year though that I chose to get serious with illustration, developing my style and technique and trying to create a volume of work.
What is your biggest artistic achievement thus far?
Probably my first commercial illustration project for Urban Walkabout, it was really awesome to have my art dotted around Perth for a period of time.

All throughout the month of August, I am holding a solo exhibition at Ruck Rover General Store in Northbridge. Otherwise, people can view my work online on Behance, Facebook, Instagram and my website.
What is your favourite Perth Gallery?
I do like the Venn Gallery, combining food and art is always a plus in my books.
